recorded music.

The 'Sausages of Ireland' could easily give one the impression that we only play light-hearted songs, but here we present a collection of music that we have always held dearly yet never quite knew where to put. And so is born ‘Worse Things than Dying’.

The inevitable journey from life unto death plagues all things getting hurdled from the depths of unfathomable obscurity to the unknown, and has been the rack and ruin of philosophers forever.

These pieces of music explore life and death, sometimes literally and sometimes metaphorically. They seek to understand the fragile nature and uncertainty of happiness, wars fought on the battlefield or wars fought in the mind, and what it means to rise again.

This album, our first, is a combination of original songs and reimagined covers of songs and tunes from the Irish tradition. There is subtext, commentary, and method to all of the madness, which we are leaving open to the interpretation of the listener. It is up to you to decide whether or not this is all waffle, or if there is deeper meaning among all this noise. All art is open to interpretation, and we are excited to find out how this speaks to you. We are proud to bring this to you. It is the result of years of effort, frustration, and spontaneous brainfarts, and we hope that somewhere along the way it can make you crack a smile.
